This article details what automations are pre-loaded to occur for your instance.
What Is An Automation?
Automations are actions that occur automatically based on data within your instance. Each automation is based on the following properties:
trigger -- the logic and condition(s) that trigger the event
action -- what happens when the event is triggered
channel -- the method(s) by which the action occurs
target -- the recipient(s) of the action
Available Automations
The following automations are active for all current instances:
Happy Birthday
Triggers an SMS message delivery action that is sent to the member annually on the member's birthday field
Happy Anniversary
Triggers a message delivery action that is sent to the member annually the member's joined date field
Initial Login Reminder
Triggers a message delivery action that is sent to the users every month until they log in for the first time
We Miss You
Triggers a message delivery action that is sent to the users every 6 months until they log in again
Membership Birthdays
Triggers a message delivery action that is sent to all users with a paid membership on the 1st of the month, listing all the members with a birthday in that month
New Members
Triggers a message delivery action that is sent to all users with a paid membership on the 15th of February, May, August, and November, listing all the members with a joined date within the prior 90 days
Renewal Automations
The following automations are active for instances with a set renewals end date. All renewal reminders are sent via the member's preferred messaging method -- email or SMS -- unless otherwise stated.
30-day notice
Triggers a message delivery action that is sent to all users without a completed renewal status 30 days from the renewal end date.
7-day notice
Triggers both an email and SMS message delivery action that is sent to all users without a completed renewal order status 7 days renewal end date
0-day notice
Triggers both an email and SMS message delivery action that is sent to all users without a completed renewal order status on the renewal end date.
Non-renewal
triggers a user status change action to Guest (limited) for any user that hasn't renewed the day after the renewal end date.
No message triggered
Modifying Automations
